The Health Fund plan has the lowest payroll deductions.

2.

The maximum out-of-pocket you pay is lower in the Health Fund plan, whether you cover just yourself or your family. Combine this with the lowest payroll deductions, and you will have the plan with the best total value.

If you’re worried about a high deductible amount, this might ease your mind: 77% of PB employees never actually meet the deductible and 99% never reach their out-of-pocket maximum.

The Health Fund Plan covers the same services as the PPO plan — the differences are in the way you plan and pay for your non-preventive medical expenses

Preventive care and screenings are available at no cost to you.

You don’t have to worry about paying anything at time of service if you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) — you can wait for the bill to be sent to you later. If you have a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) you only pay a $20 copay for visits to your primary care doctor.

Pitney Bowes helps you contribute money into your HSA by offering a company match up to $500 for you-only coverage and $1,000 if your family is covered. Plus, you can invest the dollars in your HSA and watch your money grow while you sleep. Company match is not available for directors and above.

If you choose an HSA, you receive a debit card to pay easily and directly for your out-of-pocket medical expenses.

You can earn up to $250 for you or up to $500 for you and your covered spouse/partner, deposited tax-free into your HSA or HRA* when you participate in Wellness Perks. This can help you pay for medical expenses and reduce your deductible amount.

*HRA applies to hourly employees only. Presort Services/FDR employees will receive cash in their paycheck as taxable income.

Over 75% of employees currently enrolled in the Health Fund plan report back as being “extremely satisfied” with the Health Fund plan.
